Jason & Tammy Somerville

About Custom Structures

Custom Structures was incorporated in January 2004 by Jason and Tammy Somerville, a husband and wife team. Jason had been building pole buildings since 1997, but was sent on the road to complete large and complicated projects since he ran one of the top crews.  He felt torn between doing the job he loved and being away from his family.  He decided something had to be done.  Once he gave notice to Wick that he would have to leave, it was noted that there wasn’t a Wick dealer in our area.  Therefore, we took on a dealership and Jason and his crew continued doing the job they take so much pride in, and they were now home with their families as well.

Since then, Custom Structures has built a reputation of great rapport with our customers, excellent service, superior building product, and unmatchable workmanship!

Tammy was glad to assist her husband in the business.  She had been involved in business management throughout her college years and was up for the challenge of beginning one of their own.  She loves to help customers design a building that fits their needs. “It’s amazing to see how an idea comes from the paper to reality when the building is finished.  Our customers are always astonished by the speed and quality produced while building!”

While we will always run our company as a family owned and operated business, there was an opportunity for us to expand to meet the needs of our customers, and we gladly accepted this opportunity.  Charles Jochimsen, “Chuck” had worked with Jason years ago, they were always great friends even though they had “competed” for who was the actual Top Foreman!  Both have such talents with building, both are great leaders, and both really like their job.  Chuck and his crew left Wick to join the Custom Structures family for the same goal that we had in mind…to be at home.

It is no exaggeration to say that we now have the top 2 foremen, and crews, in Wisconsin.  We believe that with all our mind and heart; we have award upon award, and testimony after testimony to back that statement up.
